truthfully toy guns do not create aggressive children - experience has taught me that give a child a scrap of paper and if they want to play guns they will fashion one out of the paper...
as for the nerf guns.. i bought my grandkids a set last year and sent them downstairs to play - we didn't see them for the rest of the afternoon... most peaceful Christmas celebration ever !!!

I had them as a child ... and even got my first real gun before I was 10! lol
The boys have had several Nerf wars since he opened them; now I wonder why I waited so long to relent!

Nerf. Oh, yeah! Nothing better! Add a stack of empty plastic bottles, or cans (which make a more satisfying noise when they crash)
I had toy guns when i was a kid and look how I grew up :D
