Hurry up and wait .....
August was when I found out about tri-fecta of prolapses.
I spent all of September and the early part of October being
poked, prodded, and 'other' things that I don't even care to remember.
When I net with my Doctor over a week ago, he confirmed what I already knew.
I need a hysterectomy and he needs to re-attach my other bits.
What he HASN'T told me was when the surgery was going to be.
I realize it's only been a little over a week, but I'm not so good with the waiting.
I really just want it over with and done.
Preferably before the holiday season as I will be out of commission for 8 weeks.
*sigh*
Maybe by Friday .....Labels: Asshats-r-us, It's all about me, mental cleansing, not much of anything, Pfft, SIGH, The beauty and joy that is ME

do you call him daily? at home? :-) I hate waiting too and I become the very squeaky wheel. 8 weeks? AGHGHG.
Love the song you have going on today.
probably in the hands of the mysterious Schedulers! i usually try to find a sympathetic nurse who will point me toward the hospital scheduling person...
good luck! sign up for netflix if you don't already have it...
and love this tune...
Sorry, kiddo.
I hate to hear that girl, I agree, the sooner the better, but....when I had back surgery for a ruptured disc, I had to stay doped up on morphine for like 5 weeks because they couldn't schedule me until then so they just doped me up. Sounds great huh, nah, being wasted on morphine all day and night is no way to live. It was fun for a couple of days but became depressing. You'll do fine. Prayers. RTR!
the voice of optimism
i saw the new specialist on June 8th - got the call yesterday that my new set of tests are scheduled for Dec 4th
Hope you have more success getting it done and done.....
(oh in case you are curious - i refused my appointment - things are good - why fix what isn't broken - at least not that close to the holidays)
let us know when
BOXER: I have called ... no word yet. :(
DAISYFAE: I have 7 seasons of "Trailer Park Boys" to keep me occupied!
BUFFALO: Thanks dollface. I was just whiny and frustrated.
Ok ... I still am. ;D
NIXABN: OMG! 5 weeks of morphine? No thanks! A day or two ... hell yeah! lol
(I still LOVE your name!)
MORNINGSTAR: Sadly, I believe that healthcare in our country is becoming like yours. It's not a knock, but I know most people end up waiting a very long time for medical attention ... and that is a damn shame.
Hahahaha, yeah, it was a personalized tag I saw driving down the highway one day. I love it.
I hate doctors.
Love nurses.
I hope they get it together so you can have it done and over with.
