Edmund Fitzgerald
Growing up on Lake Erie, I heard the story of 'The Edmund Fitzgerald', a freighter that sank in
Lake Superior on November 10,1975, killing all 29 crew members on board.
Afterwards, Gordon Lightfoot, a prolific Canadian singer/songwriter wrote an amazing and haunting song about it.
It has always been one of my favorite songs.
Happy Flashback Friday y'all!

Not sure I've ever heard that before, so thanks.
NOT entirely true. I alone survived.
HEFF: The song or the story? Both?
BT: That explains a lot! ;D
I didn't know the back story of it being a real event. Very cool. Happy Friday. Thank you again for my lovely necklace and card. You are a special person. xoxoxo
