Not dead. Really.
I've just been away.
Physically and mentally.
I traveled to Cleveland a few times in July to help my niece set up her apartment and start college.
I spent most of August with Jack.
In between I've been taking care of Dad .... which you can read about here .
I'm not exactly sure how, but I managed to make it through the summer without killing anyone or ending up in Rehab.
I consider it quite an accomplishment as I spent a fair amount of time partaking of my newest favorite beverage:
I'm generally NOT a fan of ales.
I prefer stouts, porter, amber, dark lager, etc.
The darker and more bitter, the better.
However, on a blazing hot day, Redd's Apple was my go to.
I hope to get back into some regular writing.
I miss it.
I miss you all.

The sheer fact that an American woman understands the difference between dark ales, stouts and porter impresses me nearly to the point of an erection. I will never again raise my eyes whenever the subject of those from Amerikay not knowing their ales from their elbows is mentioned in conversation.
I have also answered your question in regard to utensils my dear.

Dangl'n berries, ripe for the pick'n and smell'n of... uhm, well, lets just say you prolly don't wanna go delving nose first. Trust me, a little dab will tell ya' all you need to know.
Anywho... I DID think you died! I did; I really DID! Thankfully, I've been known to be wrong... on occasion.
Oh, and cheers to some cooling ales, when the itch to kill is giving you the chiggers:D

Good to see you - and i understand the momentary disappearance. i've been a bit scarce out here this summer as well.
Like you, i'm fond of porters and stouts, so i haven't given Redd's a second glance. Will have to reconsider that based on your recommendation. If we have any hot days ahead, that is...

DAISYFAE: For an ale, it's really delicious! I think it's more because it tastes like a crisp apple and not ALE!

Interesting, a friend of mine recently suggested trying this brew. I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I will.
